I've been coming to this place since i was a little girl, this place has my heart and I will always keep coming back! I usually go on Saturdays or Sundays because those are the days they specifically make barbacoa. Their barbacoa is some of the best I've tried in the valley! I also keep coming back because they have quesadillas de huitlacoche (has a rich mushroom-like flavor) and quesadillas de flor de calabaza! I love huitlacoche and this one beats any quesadilla de huitlacoche i've had so far! The service is good and quick. The inside is very big, good for dining in!

Located at the end of Plaza Del Valle and next to the LA Kings Valley Ice Center, it's a great place for authentic Mexican food. You're greeted by a taxidermied cow right when you walk in and a big menu. There's many wonderful choices to choose from and you can either dine in or take it to go. The staff was very friendly and our order was prepared right away. We went for lunch time and a handful of people were eating. I like how the interior is decorated and it's not too loud. Don't miss out on their licuados too, I have yet to try them

You'll find this restaurant nestled on Van Nuys Blvd next to the LA Kings Valley Ice Rink. Sometimes, a nice authentic Mexican meal is just what you need after a hockey game. It took me awhile to try this place out, based on the mid reviews on Yelp. Be forewarned: the menu is all in Spanish and the employees for the most part, do not speak English. So there may be a language barrier if you don't speak or understand some Spanish. On my last visit, I ordered the shredded beef flauta. For $3.49, it comes with one, but with all the toppings (shredded lettuce, pico de Gallo, and sour cream). I really enjoyed it. I wish I could've gotten another one! The rest of my family ordered carne Asada burritos. They were a bit on the small side, but tasted good. They were also pricey at $9.99 each for something that looked like a snack burrito. Overall, this place wasn't bad. I gave it an extra star for the flavor. And my kid had accidentally spilled his horchata all over the floor, and one of the employees was quick to come and help clean up without looking upset. I'd visit again if I were craving Mexican food and don't want to drive far from the rink.
